Roe named his property Sandalford which, to this day, remains one of the State’s best known vineyards. As part of the Swan Valley wine area, it has several wineries.
It is a brick and tile production area, with Brisbane & Wunderlich constructing a tile manufacturing business in 1953. It has long been linked with agricultural endeavors and hosts a show on a regular basis.
